Children’s party ideas
First step in planning a party for your child is choosing a theme. I’m pretty sure your child will already have in mind what type of party they would like about 6 months before the big day. They would have already made plans and ideas for their party way in advance. Each child is individual so each party is sure to be different each time.
When thinking of themes, they can be absolutely anything your child would like, from dancing, singing, princess and pirates to superheros and facepainting.
Children’s parties can be expensive and extremely stressful to plan so All Star have come up with some cool ideas for your child’s party that should help alleviate some of those stresses.
1. A themed dance party
Here at All star parties for kids we offer a range of dance parties to suit your child’s needs. This can be any theme you would like, Street dance, hip hop, ballet, pop, rock, Little Mix, George Ezra or any song choices you like. We come to a venue of your choice also. You could book up your local village hall or even host a dance party at home, provided the weather stands up you could even have it in the garden. Just get in touch for a quote tailored to your child’s wishes. Disney medley parties are high on our list of requested parties just as much as Little Mix are. If your boys are too cool for dancing then why not try some hip hop or street dancing. This will give them the experience of a dance party whilst making sure they look super cool and exciting to their friends.
2. Popstar party
Is your child into singing and dancing? Then this could be the party for you. One of our entertainers will come to a venue of your choice and teach your child any song they would like to perform. Games, dancing and singing will surely keep your little ones entertained. If your child is anything like mine, they love singing in the car at the top of their lungs all be it sometimes to the wrong words! A popstar party would the absolute ideal party. Your child can choose any song they would like, from Little Mix to a full-on band set.
3. Face painting
Perfect for the younger children. Why not organise a party at home in the garden. Fairy lights, garden games and one of our facepainters. Your little ones can have the freedom to run around at home and take it in turns to have their face painted in any theme they like, Disney, princesses, pirates, superheros, animals or glittery flowers.
If your little one is not so little any more, not a problem. Why not try some of our festival facepaints? Glitter tattoos. You could set up a mini music festival in the garden, using tents or teepees, fairy lights, music and our facepainting.
4. Balloon modeling parties
Our entertainer will create some magical pieces from balloons. Swords or wands. Animals or crazy hats. Try booking out your local village hall for your child’s party and we will come and do the rest.
5. Tree planting party
If your child is a little more quiet and would prefer something a little more reserved why not try something a little different. You could try a gardening themed party, planting a tree with friends and add decorations to hang off the branches. This is a simple but effective party that will have your child remember all those wonderful friends and get them using their creative side. It’s definitely one to remember for years to come watching their tree grow. Maybe add new decorations for each year that passes. Sitting down to make some creative decorations, followed by an afternoon tea or party food should keep them entertained for a good few hours. You could also add in some of our face painting following the same theme. Try out our flower, butterfly facepainting and capture your child’s more spiritual side.
6. Keep it simple
If you are on a strict budget or have organised an expensive gift then why not try a small picnic with family and friends. Try the local splash park or skate park followed by a nice yummy picnic.
Whatever your child decides they would like this year, don’t worry, relax and try to let others help with the organisation. Let grandparents organise the cake or party food. Keep it simple if you can or give us a shout to organise all of your party details.
